Tara Carpenter

Tara Carpenter is the Implementation Manager for the Palace Project at Lyrasis, where she leads configuration, support, training, and adoption & engagement efforts for participating libraries. She has a background in nonprofits and public libraries, previously working in roles including Program Manager of Adult Education at the Desert Botanical Garden, and Library Services Manager & Library Branch Manager at Maricopa County Library District. Throughout her career, Tara has concentrated on the democratization of technology, encouraging the usage and adoption of digital materials and tools in libraries through public programming and staff training initiatives. Tara holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and an MLIS from San Jose State University.
