Ariana I. Vega Vargas is an attorney based in Puerto Rico, where she practices intellectual property, data privacy, and entertainment law. During her J.D., she spent time doing pro bono work through a legal clinic focused on holding public institutions accountable, representing nonprofits and individuals in access-to-information matters.
Prior to practicing law, she was editor of the novel Amores Innecesarios (2022) and contributed as a writer to Ellas (2020). At Library Futures, she is researching public libraries in Puerto Rico as part of the island’s information infrastructure, focusing on how access to knowledge shapes communities and preserves cultural memory.
