Allison Jennings-Roche is the Associate Director of Digital Initiatives and Collections at the University of Baltimore, a PhD Candidate in Information Studies at the University of Maryland, and a 2024 Library Journal Mover and Shaker. She researches rhetoric, ethics, and advocacy for libraries as public institutions — especially as they face censorship and antidemocratic movements. Allison was a guest editor of the latest issue of The Political Librarian and is a fierce advocate for library workers.
